instead of watching Olympic on DD sports it is better off to read in the news papers because the way these matches are shown is very haphazard one moment it telecast athletic and suddenly commercial break is taken and immdiately any other sport matches are telecasted which really feel you angry.

From what I know, it is 2100 beijing time and should be 1830 IST

yes the match's first 3 minutes, middle 5 minutes and the last 2 minutes will be telecast on DD sports. Rest of the time one person will utter garbage in the DD studio in English and another lady will be translating the garbage into Hindi. Better to just follow the score on the beijing 2008 website.

Check DD Sports. But you might end up hearing their boring annalists, as they do with cricket. Instead of showing sports continuously, you have to hear them. Don’t know why?

silas , i totaly agree with u, it is the most insipid telecast yet, not 1 event is shown full football matches hv been sown in pieces.it seems the presenters are paid as per words they speak, like the radio comentators the tv guys talk endlessly, they shud gv some credit of knowlege of the port to the viewer. one has to watch the epl the comentators speak very little of the game except they identify the players, the viewer has uninterrupted view, the same when shown in hindi, my word u go mad. dd sports is a total waste of time.

So Mr. Kaushik You feel so happy? if at all we want to be compared then we should be compared with China not porkistan. OK? Evem Jamaica with a small population is doing well at the Games.

I am sure if Pak were part of India, we would have won a medal. Consider Pathans in our teams who are definitely of a fitter breed than the average indian! Lol, maybe you should worry more about India's pathetic appearance and performance in the Olympics than that of Pakistan.
The so-called fastest growing developing country can't win more than just a medal when war-torn and poor countries like those that form part of the former USSR and unheard of countries in the distant Pacific are winning again and again.
What a shame! Lets face it, we are simply the most corrupt country participating in the Games.

not really!! What is the guarantee that any pathan will not be tested positive in doping tests conducted by WADA? Check out for Mohammed Asif who tested positive in B sample also.
