just concentrate on one sport viz. swimming, and apply all our resources in developing good swimmers at the very young age, give good coaching, diets, infrastructure, encouragements, rewards in the form of jobs, etc. it can give a lot of medals in just one sport, even if v dont do better in other sports. if v really go at swimming seriusly, chances of medals are highest in swimming with so many medal earning events.

I feel we can do well in long distance events like 800m and 1500m. Just get hold of some of the boys who keep trekking on the hills of utharkhand day in and day out in low oxygen, train them and we will get ther results. We should not depend on the govt to do it as many problems crop up pvt organisations that have the money should set up an academy to develop quality atheletes using international methods and coaches. Training involves great amt of technology so we have to get it from abroad.

All, Sachin please sponsor some part of your money to Indian people because we are not able to participate in Olympics. Kapil is so selfish instead of opening olympics associateion he opened one more cricket. We are not able to participate in running. Running not needed any sponsorship. PLEASE STOP CRICKET. Any body can encourage sportsperson. How much will you contribute to the growth of sports in India. There is no need that Sachin should contribute. What does the sports minister do? He just gave poses with Abhinav as it was his medal. How much you will contribute?
