No doubut there is an abudance of talents in India but we do not have proper academy to train people for Olympics unlike China, USA, Russia and France. Government never bothered to allocate respectable budget, personnel, facilities etc. Those gr8 Indians who brought the medals, it was their personal endeavor and hardwork. After getting the medals, Indian bureaucrats jumps in to take the credit. Shame on us we are a billion population nation, yet we have 1 Gold in our basket.

Yes you are right, I wanted to say that as well. If we give Michael Phelps citizen then at least he will bring glory to our nation.

may be indians are not greatest in term of physical strength or may be our traditional sports like kabbadi..kho-kho and cricket might give us few medals... i guess...
What he ate is nobody's business. He has appetite and knows how to burn it. He announced his target of 8 gold before going for it. Thats the best part. Let our sportspersons announce their food habits and get gold!
