I agree with Anon's remark that the Americans and Australians get angry cos' they are bad losers. Yes that remark is absolutely right. But in the midst, there's the picture of Roger Federer losing match after match lately and yet taking everything in his stride. While still on Federer, the Indian duo of Mahesh and Leander should not grudge their defeat at the hands of Federer & Partner when this pair defeated the top seeded pair of the Byran brothers. Better luck for the Indians in the next Olympics!!!!!!

Bad losers?

Why are Americans & Australians such bad losers? Maybe its because they are not use to losing. But Blake is used to it. ah, he assumed he is destined for Gold medal after he beat the current world no. 1. Rafa becomes the world no. 1 on Monday.

I saw the match live, and specifically the point under dispute. It was Gonzalez who should have lost the point, but did not, due to umpiring error and unsportsman like behaviour. The very next game, Blake was broken, obviously losing his concentration.

..may be we Indians are not used to "WINNING"...so we dont actually have an idea what it is like to "LOSE" after "WINNING"..we have been losing for ever..so..what the heck...just another day...dude..grow up....stop taking pleasure out of American and Aussie loss..we got to admit it...they are superior to us..in all sport..inc cricket..we have no option but to improve ourselves..rather than laughing at their loss!!!!

xman, point is not about India. Its about how you take loss. Did you see the reaction of Sergey Vodopyanov (current world champion) after Akhil won? That guy didn't even shake the hand Akhil offered. Thats utter rude and bad.
I watched this semi-finals Gonzales Vs Blake. No matter what, Blake just gave up after the Chilian got that point. Just stop bashing Indians without thinking.

Yes, one is reminded of the 'Hand of God' by Maradona.

Why do v cry abt the arrogance of the Americans or the Australians or whom so ever????Its about the Olympics and the sportsmanship....And when the ball its ur racket, and the umpire nd the linesman have not noticed it, its always good if u show ur sportsmanship...After all its the Olympics which is considered to be the symbol of sportsmanship...

Definitely they seem to be superior than you but dont put everyone else in the same category just because you are a failure in life and have a pathetic negative mindset and an inferiority complex.
There are lots of Indians who have achieved what no other person has achieved before and lots of losers like you who will always whine and remain a nobody.

Hi Shiva,

Although, a strongly worded reply, it was good from your side to remind us of the achievements of Indians, but to think of the other side- laxmi mittal, who is amongst the top 5 richest in the world has done nothing to his village, do you know his village in rajasthan is reported to have no electricity till date.I am not blaming him, but saying we do not remember our PEOPLE when it is time. May be out of context, I just wanted to put my thoughts.

Raj.
