Not sure how much! But whatever amount it is they give becuase it gives a chance to our beloved leaders to visit the host country at the expense of our people who get worst facilities given by them.
20 yrs latter he will show this to his grand son/grand daughter, that he won this in China Olympics.As he & india boastiong themselves for fluke cricket world cup

Dear Mr Sarma, Swede throwing medal is nothing to do with Great Kapil. Did you know Kapil scored 175 not out when India was 19 for 5. Was it fluke. You can win one match by fluke but not all matches as we did it in 1984. Please respect our heros.

A.P., you need not be a cricket-lover, but please respect the effort 11 individuals had put against all adversities to give India its first world cup. If u dont know how to respect a sportsman like Kapil Dev, then atleast disrespect him.. U are not only disrespecting Kapil Dev, u r actaully disrecpting the Sports..!!

Boss, I don't know how old you are or how successfully you have won any medals at sports competitions ... but your gooselike exuberance to comment re Kapil and his "fluke" World Cup win are totally superfluous and unjustified in all respects!
Your comments are another perfect example of this new sweeping malaise affecting this country's youth ... that of the nouveau-riche upstart of their own ideas and thoughts. Sooner rather than later you would realize the consequences of your addlepated enthusiasm.
Quite possibly, you may even learn. Now would also be a good time to start as any. All the best.

He wants to be a PRIME Minister of our country!!! I do not know how come the States and Country have become personal properties for some.... and there is another lady who calls herself living God aspiring to be PM....of our country.

All facilities that our Olampian players should be having to win Golds for India have already been eaten up by these politicians right from the day one after the independence....If India wants to win Golds then leaders like Lalu should be kicked like anything

super see the way they faked the fire works. In India its delhi made,In world it's made in china. both have similar reputation.
I am confused to react, at a better side is not compromising on the talent of one self, to place oneself at the top spot and the other side is poor sportsmanship .. good to aspire to be numero one but respect sportsmanship.
Had he be an India, he would have given so much credit and honours for winning a bronze in Olympics. We feel proud at number 8-10 so number three is a miracle. Pity he is not an Indian. He would have got a decent govt job, lots of cash rewards and honours.
