Good job guys, keep the good going up, India is changing , people will start focussing on Football, the filling up of the Ambedkar stadia in the final was an example.
thanks to the Indian team for giving us some refreshing moments in Football. with all the bad infrastructures, worst field conditions, and poor format of the local tournaments, its very hard to achieve this feat even. one thing thats good for us is that we have a coach in BOB, who knows whats to be done & does that exactly well. he has also got a bunch of very spirited players under him who give their 100% for the game & Country. Bhutia is also an excellent leader and a very talented player. so r Chetri & others. d coach is also well composed. he doesn't make tall promises but goes on with his job accurately. to gain a global height in d sports arena India should do well in football, badminton, tennis, shooting, etc. , which r played at a much wider platform than CRICKET. so GREAT GOING & ALL D BEST FOR THE FUTURE TO THE INDIAN TEAM.
The Olympics has started and India is sleeping. How are the Indians like that they celebrate and rere celebrate a cricket victory being an underdog over and over.Start all kind of rhetorics year before a world cup.Go gaga over every single member of cricket team discussing all from girlfriend to underwears. And the biggest spoting event which infact is a platform of national pride and not a self promoting gala-blahblah of personal acievements(to a large extent). And a lousy and feminine nation like Bharat"mata" are happing telecasting saas bahus and crying competition every single day all hours every channel. These are the kinda men who never learnt competiting wether for excellence or national pride. They are happy playing a game of fortunes. Its pitiable to see that even smaller countries have turned up for the occasion in full force, small countries all -smaller than India wether south korea or ehiopia are much prepared for the event than the Indians. Offcourse we might get some thing but apathy of media is pathetic.

if you have talent show it to the world. FYI, cricket players achieved it by their hardwork & determination. When India won the world cup BCCI didn't have money to facilitate those wiining players.
Dont jealous of cricket. cricket players never begged like footballers to anyone, they showed the talent & earned. they deserve it.

People are praising overtime chetri, while his goals are against krgystan,tajistan etc. Some are even suggesting he shud play EPL. Man, note the following: 1. Europe demands consistency against FIFA ranked nations of 50 and higher not 130 ranking teams 2. Fitness is top notch 3. Ishant sharma took woickets in ranji, but he went to australia and took wickets. Thats a REAL HERO 4. Sreesanth bowled India to victory at wanderers, against top qulity SA team. ANother hero 5. See the point is only consistent performances abroad against class, will show u as a real hero. Let chettri now start atleast against korea japan etc before europe.

our coach praised him for how he has played he has not compared him to all the great players of the world nor said he is best player better then epl players,so y ur jeolous of him if u cant digest our teams victory so dont criticise also u good for nothing cricket looser

man....do u hv any idea what u r talking about....u r basically comparing a game played by hardly 10 countries to a game which actually has a 130 rank!! people like you r the reason that now we r happy just to qualify for asian cup..it's a shame considering that india actually won the asian games gold in football twice - '51 & '62 and well 4 ur info india beat japan in '62 finals
Dear All, we all speak about low standard in foot ball but can we expect the team to shine immediately in world cup. Dont keep blaming association & National players. If team has to develop we should take intiative to start playing these games & motivate those playing best in our group or area. This way a momentum will come to Indian football and we will generate the worlds best team from selected Eleven of 100 crore people.

this is welcome news This simply marks that men reside in this country and yes we have tigers devouring giants.. its a bright sign .. we might play at good level in soccer in very near future Yes limit, if not ban limit cricket and other feminine sports. inspire our boys to go for killing spree in everything.. right now Olympics winner and soccer team have given us to notch our noses. wonderful boys... wonderful begining. coach deserves as much as the boys cobgrats
I am demanding Indian Govt to ban cricket for at least 5 years.
If GoI cannot fully ban Cricket, at least ban Test Cricket, Four-Days, Three-Days, and One Day Cricket. We only need shorter version of Twenty 20.
Instead, we should save that energy and resources for the sports like Football, Hockey, Athletics, Swimming, Archery, Shooting, Wrestling, Boxing, Water Sports, etc. This will help us to gain more Olympics medals.
Govt should impose fine on medias who are giving coverage for cricket for more than 10 minutes.
Govt should also impose a huge tax on those corporate who are sponsoring Cricket and Cricketers.
We use use that amount to fund the development of other sports.

I agree with your ban on cricket. 98% of population in INDIA always looking at Cricket and wasting time and energy. since, this cricket has not acknowledged in OLYMPICS. Our media also always encourging cricket only not for other sport. Personelly I believe cricket is time waste game and develop more unemployment in INDIA if this spot continue get support.
because of this cricket our country losing energy due to people are wathching cricket continuely 5days and a day game, such a useless.
one way hail Hitler, he shooted crickets who failed to get result after played 5days test cricket end with a draw.
Absoultely you are right crickt is sucha an useless game.
