Right you are. We have won 1 gold, see how many uther small countries have won, leave aside China who has a bag full. We a nation of 1 billion, compare with small countries. It is rather shameful for us to foolishly go on jumping for one achievement. Rather our ministers should think how to improve. We are expert in CHAKKA JAMS killing the suffering people. Shame on those fools.

His success is major aachievement. Now the media coverage on daily basis will stop some day? Next headline would be,Abhinav goes to his native place, He meets the parents. His school college hosts a receiption.

Experiences of his colleagues in colleges. He wiil be encircled by Ad men,His endorsements will cross those of crecketeres and cine actors.

Dont we/you think somewhere all this shud stop. When we copy western technology, we shud also copy how sober they are and the media there dont over react successs how important and glaring it may be.hrKx4

I think its the difference between 1 Gold medal and 15 Gold medals. Think yourself in these two situations and analyze again.

Listening to an achiever, his hard work and detrmination definitely would inspire young ones. I think tv coverage of such achievers is far better than watching the enamel painted bollywood gals and their brainless blabbery

well, nothing wrong in celebration. infact celebration encourages others to pursue for gold. Especially this kind of celebration.

Olympic is a lesson

Congrats to Abhinav. His hard work gave him a true success. I believe that Indian Govt. and people of India should think this matter seriously. Why China can win so many gold in this Olympic and why not India??? India has talent and resources to show the world. But is it the dirty politic bringing dark shadow in Indian sport history??? Why we feel that winning one gold we feel won so many gold??? Chinese govt. has given real boost to this sport men by saying that "If any one win a gold he/she will get huge money and a house to live". I feel Indian govt. should do some thing like that and can get money from all sponsor. Lot of poor talent in India can not get sufficient fund to prove them and at last dirty politic not make them selected to represent India. Wellthis olympic is a wake up call for Indian.

Ridiculous. We should have compared ourselves with china from 1947,instead we compared ourselves with the piece of dirt like Pakistan and stayed like them. We always thought cricket is the game and an occational wins against pakistan gave us satisfaction.

To the country you trained in.

Else, come October, you will be campaigning with Rahul Gandhi or with Mayavati or be riding Advani's Rath.

In the meanwhile you will be the judge in reality shows...

You will be linked up with Sania Mirza and who not...And ultimately you will be 30th in the 2012 Olympics.

Very true...but Mr Dutt need not worry, Mr Bindra is such an iceberg he can easily ward off all those flies you have mentioned and keep his cool. and come back from London victorious, again.
