Rathore seems to have performed indifferently both in the shooting as well as the Flag bearer.When all the other teams were marching cheerfully spreading joy to their people in the stands this fellow seemed to be going about with the motions without any joy or cheer.His below par performance in the event also needs to be probed.
We all know how difficult it is to shoot moving targets rather than shooting at sitting ducks. I appreciate Rathore's effort and as Abhinav Bindra himself said yesterday that to be in the top 20 league of the world itself is an achievement.
Give him a break. No sportsperson is in top form all the time. There is no need to make a big issue. How could we forget that he saved the face of India in last olympics. I hope he comes back in form next olympics

We needed more Rathore and bindras and Jungs to make it a big event. This alone will able to move india in top league of medal contenders.

Its habit of Media to give over publicity to national heros. Media follow them in their each and every step, if they go haircut media will fellow them and start asking him, how do you feel when u are having haircut. in short GIVE THEM SPACE, to concentrate on their game and privacy. Sponsers always demands more time from sportsman, they dont care whether sportsman gets sufficient time for practice or not. In China everybody knows international sports person every well, but still they kept distance from media. Government Should take care of this.. otherwise Abhinav's Gold will be first and last gold medal for india....

I think some 30 hours back or so that Gold medal winner has given a message to the people of India - understand that message you idiot and stop living with Negativity! How can you say - Abhinav's Gold will be first and last gold medal for India? Let's hope for Saina Nehwal, feel she can deliver a medal to India.

you have wrongly interpret my message. FIrst and last gold means, i am talking about next olympic, as it happened with Rathor, it could happen with Abhinav, and others,,, i am not thinkking negetive.. i am telling truth. we have example of sania mirza, rathore, and many more...
Rathod and Jung has been big dissapointment in Olympics. Jung was out of form from the qualification stages. He could not even qualify for his pet event. But I had a lot of hope on rathod. May be he has been done in by the pressure of big expectations of one billion people. Better luck next time for both of them.
