Olympics is a mirror to show our Politicians are Impotent Dogs who can only eat the Taxpayers money and loot the Country. Olympic is the benchmark of sensitiveness towards the masses by the leadership of the civil system and here only the Antisocials and wretched lusty idiots are allowed to do politics and their favourite hiding place is behind the excuse "LIKE PEOPLE LIKE LEADER" which is absolutely falsely implied on the society atlarge. OLYMPICS is a shame for the Entire Leadership of the country because they are impotent to provide any solution to any problem of this Nation and they themselves are the greatest rotten problem for the Nation.

Forgive me for raising the Kashmnir land allotment and cancellation issue on this discussion board but I am not finding any place to expression my views:
If a Muslim majority state (area) of the secular-Inida does not give land to a minority religion in that state (area), people in other states will react (sooner or later) using the same principle in the their areas. For example, people in Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, UP, Punjab etc can react by asking for not allowing land to minority religions there. As we see that the politions are not looking for the country and thus such reactions can not be avoided. We are already seeing so many reactions by the people due to the "inaction of goverment to wait-and-watch policies"; goverment is building even more grounds for future reactions. Down with all the political parties as none have raised the implication of the Land cancellation issue in proper perspective. When a particular political party starts using this (Muslims refusal to give land to Hindus) for political gains, even media will start branding that party as communal. We have got great intellectual bankrupcy in India. Why not any minority commission or any minority supporter speaking for secular India at this crucial moment?

It is shame that 1 billion people has only 1 gold medal. Also abhinav won medal due to his own effort and investment. government has done nothing for his gold medal except they include his name in list.
Government should stop religiouse vote bank policy and other subsidary. That money can invest in sports and welfare of country.
Let us all Indians resolve to stop concentrating on all kinds of stupid Nach & Gana stuff & instead focus on sports to fetch glory to our motherland. Appeal To Media / TV :Close your all stupid so called news & entertainment channels & run only sports channels.

Kumar, it is in our culture and typical middle class pschyche and also the WILL of the administrators of sports in this country. How many parents in India will tell thier children "ok beta, u concentrate only on swimming or badminton, or athletics or gymnastics and then we dont mind if u get average marks in your academics". And THE MAIN CULPRITS ARE THE SPORTS ADMINISTRATORS OF THIS COUNTRY, WHERE IS THE FACILITY AND TRAINING GROUNDS FOR ALL THESE SPORTING ACTIVITIES IN INDIA???????? I think the PMO and the President should first put thier heads down inshame, because they have not provided the infrastructure and the encouragement for the Indian parents to push thier kids into sports apart from cricket !!!! JUST ASK ABHINAV BINDRA'S PARENTS HOW MUCH SUPPORT THEY RECIEVED FROM THE SPORTS AUTHORITY IN INDIA FOR THIER SON....I AM SURE THE PARENTS MUST HAVE FUNDED 90% OF THIER SON'S EXPENSES FOR TRAINING AND TRAVEL!!!!! THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO SPONSOR FROM ANY INDIAN COMPANY AS WELL...ITS A SHAME.

We dont have money mostly. Training an Olympic gold medalist is not cheap. BTW, we are not doing much in IT, Nuclear Technology is just hype and eyewash, and when it comes to Science, we live on borrowed technology. The problem is of course with the system - everything from top to bottom is rotten.
