Nobody, except a few, who hate anybody who achieved some success, doubts the capacity of Federer to bounce back, and reclaim the world no. 1 title, which he held for a record period of 235 weeks. But it is a hell of a job, and it is going to take awful lot of hard work on his part. This season has been a very demanding one, and put a lot of emphasis on the ability of the players to keep full fitness for a prolonged period. Federer started the season badly with a mysterious fever, and because of the gruelling demands of the calender, never regained his peak fitness. Presently, he looks famished, and it is too much to expect him to win the Olympic Gold or the US Open in this condition. But after a couple of months' rest, he can revamp himself at the Australian Open next year. One more thing. So far, he has been relying on his talent for the results. Now, with an ageing body, he will also require some strategy, particularly when playing against players like Nadal. He requires a good support team.

federer am sure dat u will win this olympic medal... watever s d past....think positive...play well...b confident and have a pre plan...agaist each player... first u hav to watch their play and notice their weakneses... for example....in case of nadal...u cant win volleys all time.. notice his weakness....he cant play backhand well..so play according to that... in case of djokovic he is too strong in backhand and forehand...so play some drop shots,volleys...so u can sure dominate the game.. anyway best of luck....fedx.. i love u...
I guess, it will be tough match for federer first up against Dmitry Tursunov. Tursunov has a very good serve and hard hitting play which suits hard court. Hope he will come through vic.
