Kick out these madministrators!
by Demo-crazy on Apr 23, 2008 02:21 AM

These folks who are worse than politicians, should be kicked out through any means after having been exposed for their unethical acts.

They have no morals, and claim their innocence, protesting the 'stealthy' recording. Will anyone ever get caught if recorded in open view? If the man is honest, he would have refused to accept money. Why did he take the money? Why is he crying foul now? If he says KPS gill trusts him and he in turn expects to be proved innocent by the enquiry of KPS Gill appointed committee (or whatever they wish to call), then we can guess that KPS Gill is also into such things albeit in a stealthy manner!

There should be a strict tenure rule for all sports administrators. No more than 2 terms for anyone at any level. I wish if this can apply even to our legislatures.

Gill to resign
by achuthan on Apr 22, 2008 08:21 PM  | Hide replies

There is no point at all blaming the politicians and corrupt officials. We the so called literate middle class have only got the guts to write columns and articles, but never at all united ourselves to go and caste votes. Its been the big time corporate world who have lifted the corrupt officials/ministers and the poor illeterate farmers who have caste their votes for goondas and caste creaden politicions. Common wake up the biggest class of India and show some guts. The election time is around the corner. lets show some guts atleast now. Now or never.

Now this man will go to court and will with the help of some esteemed lawyers prove his innocence - then he will come back with beaming smile and will say " I have now been vindicated and truth has truimphed". He will be compensated for the loss of income and trauma. See what happened to Jadeja and Azhar.

INDIAN HOCKEY: Jyothi Kumaran resigns
by Kamal on Apr 22, 2008 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

This malady is rampant in all sports bodies in India. It is not at all new; in fact, selection process is contaminated right down to grass-root level. India is always governed by week and meek people that is why these type of elements flourish. Government should have exposed this as players were aware of these nefarious dealings for quite some time, but private bodies have to do all these. KPS Gill should not keep continuing indignantly and shamelessly. He is thoroughly responsible for the annihilation of Hockey in India. But, no one is there to look into these fiascos in this DEMOCRATIC INDIA.

Why KPS Gill not resigned
by Ranjay Tripathi on Apr 22, 2008 05:26 PM  | Hide replies

Whay KPSG has not resigned. He should be removed immidiately from the post of president IHF. He is not fit for it. Under his tenure, Indian hockey has gone to hell. This guy is not only responsible for poor state of Hockey but played with careers of many players. Just because of poor handling of sports and dirty interest of these people including KPS Gill careers of Viren rasquinha, Gagan Ajit, Deepak Thakur and sensational Rajeev Mishra ended. Rajeev Mishra was so confident that after 1997 Junior wolrd cup, reporters asked about his plan, he replied Sydney....we will get the gold at Sydney Olympic...after this IHF played with his career and at 27 he was gone. Kick these Gills and his cotrie of corrupt officials....

I agree with you, Rajiv Mishra was really good, also Dipak Thakur,
The fact is there are so many players have come and go in last two years, nobody even know about them now, was suggesting that there is something fishy going on,
This Jyothi K is just one fish from the pond, there should be many more, (Gill, Kalmadi, coches,) same goes true for Fulball where that guy Munchi and RK Khanna with Tennis "sale kitne salo se chippakke bethe hai"
This is where I like soudi rules, "Salo ko bich bajar me 100000000 kode marne chahiye"
