Liverpool keep on doing this season after season...They are absolute duds in the EPL. All they play for is to grab the 4th position and thereby go to the champions league. Despite of such a heavy squad so full of big names, they still cant play any attractive football except in some patches in European nights at Anfield.
Infact if it wasnt for Steven Gerrard, their European record would also have been in tatters. Their amazing bit of luck saved them against arsenal in both legs....both the penalty decisions went in their favour and once again they survived purely because of luck and pathetic refereeing.... Players like Mascherano & Alonso keep on bringing opposition players down - tackle after tackle. Benitez then would call them "holding midfielders"...Even Dirk Kuyt these days comes up with really shabby tackles when he goes back to defensive positions during opposition breaks or set plays... They are a negative minded team who just want to prevent the opposition from scoring rather than scoring themselves...All they do is hope to score on the break...They play good football only when they are behind and the onus is on them to score.... Such attitude when you have got such a fantastic squad is baffling really.... They should loose this time coz luck has taken them quite far already.... Go Chelsea go ...The blues will beat the reds this time..

champions league is completely different from epl.. if other english teams cannot do well against european opposition then its not liverpool's problem.. be happy there is atleast one team to save the over hyped epl in the face of some formidable italian and spanish teams

watman!!! which formidable italian & spanish teams are u talking about???? Out of the four semi-finalists three are english i.e from the EPL..... And Liverpool will face Chelsea now after facing Arsenal - both teams from EPL....
So which formidable European team are you talkin about???? The fact is - to win EPL or for that matter any league title, a team has to plan consistently well over the entire season. Something Liverpool never does.....And also to win a league title small strokes of luck dont really decide your fate....but in champions league a team can get lucky just the way Liverpool has this season.... Come on man acknowledge the fact that all other teams in the semis are better than Liverpool... Actually it would have been a great line up if Arsenal had made it in place of Liverpool...

Rajan - If Chelsea cant beat Liverpool, be a sport and take the defeat with smile. Stop being a cry baby - "Liverpool only play for 4th position"
This time round chelsea will break the jinx & win emphatically agnst liverpool. Chelsea's biggest asset is their goal keeper peter czech. If he is fully fit then there is no looking back for chelsea. My concern for chelsea is Drogba staying in chelsea next season. He might surely move once Murinoho takes charge of any club. That wud be a big set back for chelsea. Chelsea is upfront only cos of drogba, esien & some of Jose's fav players. I dont think they all will stay in chelsea once Jose take charge in office. Chelsea will go to slump next year is for sure

well you both can say this statement if chelsea wins or draws at anfield.well in europe thier is a saying about this stadium. "Heaven for reds but hell for others".so beware!!!!!!!!!!
yaa he make lot of difference take for example the game against ac milan in the final of champions league ,he brings the team together and had great influence on players
Even if Chelsea keeps on making atempts for the next 10 years they cannot sign GERRARD !!!!!!!!!He is the Present n Future of LIVERPOOL !! Chelsea should concentrate on their game instead of trying to praise their opponents.
