it is 50:50% chance for chelsea
by sixto dsilva on Apr 15, 2008 06:40 PM

And i do believe that this draw is a crushing defeat to their title hopes.I think chelsea was average team and where not playing at their best in this match. I don't understand why this team is not consistent , they have world class player sbut nobody performs when it comes to crunch match, i hope they will do well atleast in CL.

We just cann't write off Barca from the title contention of UEFA. As though the History is against the English clubs.

Hope there should not be a Repeat of Last year, where Arsenal lost the final to the Italian Giants. All the best to Man U.

I agree! Inspite of 3 english clubs Barca might sneak off with the UCL title. Has happened before. Dont see why it shouldn't happen again. Being a Man U supporter i hope it doesn't come true this time.

EPL is a league of three teams. Those 3 can take time off during their league regular season games and just concentrate on UCL. Not so with other leagues. Every match in the league is a WAR.

please check the basis of your comments before posting ignorant comments like these...

teams like tottemham, liverpool, blackburn, man city , etc are good to beat any of the big 3 on a given day.. the EPL is right up thr among the toughest leagues in europe....

your comments make it seems like chelsea had to just turn up to win against wigan; well, as you see from the results, every game is imp in the EPL.

however, hope Man Utd get the double this yr...

It is like saying "SRK and Tushar Kapoor's movie released on the same day and Tushar Kapoor's movie made more money than SRK's".

Abimanyu Chopra, Yes you are absolutely right and spot on if any of the following happen :

a) If all the English clubs resign and detach themselves fully from playing any kind of football...
b) If India wins Britan, and obviously our Indian football made thier national sport and E.Bengal made as one of their premier clubs.
c) If people like SRK's, mallaya's etc acquire a club to the stature of Man-utd, Arsenal, Liverpool etc and rename them as E.bengal.

I am also really surpised why you didnot want E.bengal to win also other titles like Dutch Eredvise, la liga or Italian Seria, or maybe even SPL champions...
