These matches really show what is football skill is all about. It is treat to watch these matches. The only problem is that there is body in play more often than the foot.

Always Anfield

For people like us who have grown up in the 1970s and 80s, Liverpool is the team to watch. We do hope Gerrard lifts the Champions League this time. It is good there are no Italian teams.

What a Match!!!
by Ashwin Mangeshkar on Apr 09, 2008 09:04 AM  | Hide replies

What a match guys!!! This is real football. Till the 80th minute, Aresenal was winning on the away goals rule but the script overturned in the last 10mins of play. This match has lived to those expectations of a big match and somehow Liverpool always seem to do good in Europe rather than the league. Now comes Chelsea and if they win this one and Man Utd defeat Barca ( I am considering both teams qualify in tonights match for semis and Man U win) it would be a treat to watch Man U face Liverpool.

Liverpool should thank their stars for this win. Without the favour from the referee they might have been out of the tournament. Anyway best of luck to them for the next match.

it is only the weak minded who blame others for the loss..wenger just goes on to show that he is a sore loser..

remember, champions are made from something special,a will that is far greater than skill.
