Chess from India...
by Pawan sharda on Sep 30, 2007 08:14 PM  | Hide replies

Not many people in the world knows that Chess was invented in india where our kings use to play and develop strategy about war.. People think that it was evolved in Russia as former champions many of them were from Russia.. We should deserve to be world champions and promote this game to big extent... There should be big institutes and parents in India should promote any one sport in India and give them formal training.. When in US i see the way parents motivate their child to join any sport as per his liking, child too comes out to be smart.. you canot imagine the way Chess institute runs in US.... many kids join institue and they are smart to beat others.... Let governemnet promote all games at big level... Let us be super power in games too...

Well done Anand...you are one of the RARE Indian Sportspersons who have done India proud time and again. And you very rightly raised the point , that how India is going to fecilitate you on your feat. While the achievement of Cricket team can not be termed little, its high time India and Indians took pride in fecilitating other Sportspersons as well. Keep it up. May God bless you.

WELL DONE ANAND. CRICKER FANS APPREATE VISITORS.
by Purav Shah on Sep 30, 2007 07:33 PM

ANAND, YOU HAVE MADE US PROUD AND HAPPY. ( SOME DARKIES DONT LIKE IT )

HOWEVER ONE REQUEST TO SPECTATORS OF CRICKET. WE MUST APPRECIATE VISITORS PLAY ALSO. MANY OF THEM ARE BETTER. LET US NOT REDICALISE THIS GAME ON PARTISAN LINES TOO MUCH. REMEMBER HOW GAVSKER,KAPILDEV OR ZAHEER AND IMRAN ETC. WE APPRECIATED ON FOREIGN GROUNDS ? LET US NOT GIVE THE PICTURE OF ZOMBIE-FRENZY BUT TRUE APPRECIATORS OF THE GAME.

OTHERWISE THEY WILL RETURN IN KIND. MAY BE THEY ALREADY DO. SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR BEHAVIOUR SINCE 90s. ...so LET US BE FAIR.
