Amen! Vishwanathan Anand must be conferred the BHARAT RATNA, no doubt. He has done it not just once but twice! And at 37 becoming a World Champion is a remarkable thing in itself! Let us say BHARAT RATNA VISHNATHAN ANAND JAI!
Vishy Anand is the best ever sportsperson that India has ever produced in any sports discipline.Chess is the second most popular game in the world after Football in the world and to become a world champion in this sports is a HUGE HUGE achievement.Our Government should confer Bharat Ratna to Anand for this feat !! Heartiest Congratulations to Vishy !

I completely agree. I would ask that t*b of l**d aka Sharad Pawar to understand what exactly is a world champion in sports; for that the sport should be played across the world and have participation from across nations and cultures. Not only played by 5 and half countries and suddenly the so called world champions of cricket are crorepatis. It is Anand who deserves all the accollades. I hope our politicos will loosen their purse strings and reward him adequatly. Of course, Anand would be too smart to fall for the NCP type procession.
