INDIA has not qualified for Champions' trophy. But currently they are in a great form. so if the venue is shifted to INDIA then we qualify for trophy as we will be host then. so wish that venue is shifted to INDIA

dear reader there are standards set by FIH for champion of a sub continent. FIH recognises Asian games champion as Asian Champion not Asia Cup champion is Asia Champion. although the standard is not justificable but the news is correct

Hockey still has its following in India. Many houseful stands in the recently completed Aisa cup matches in Chennai is a proof. But.. well... if it clashes with cricket.. u may be right..

Dear Deshbhakt, being Asia cup champion India still does not qualify for the olympics based on that result. But Korea is automatically in the Olympics because they are Asian Games Champs. It is indeed Great we have won Asia Cup but there is a long and hard route ahead to even qualify for the Olympics.. So we should not jump too much too soon..

actually Korea qualify for Olympics and we qualify for WC because of respective titles but we are asian champs now.

Pakistan is an unstable country. One does not understand why they get opportunity to hold such events in first place!! This country should be banned for hosting any such events in future too.... Come to India!!! Jai Hind!!!!

u stinky ppl leav eno oppurtunity to broaden the enimity between india and pakis...y dont u jus go to hell the pakis deserve as much a chance to host the competetion as we do but its just that the situation isnt right at the moment...remember they were our brothers once...

Muthukumar, no Pakiatan does not deserve to hold civilised events.Its a rogue nation where Bin Laden is more popular than their own politicians. If something is not done to crush and break up Pakistan, it will poison the entire Asian block.Just look what Pakis have done to Afganis.

Champions Trophy was introduced by Pakistan. If the event has emerged as a major event in Hockey, credit must go to them for launching it in the first place. Also, they have the right to hold the event every alternate time.
