Leander Paes and partner Megan Shaughneesy played magical tennis in the 2nd set.It was unbelieveable, too good at times. They had a comfortable lead to close the second set leading 5-2 but but the Belarusians took it to tie break and won eventually. The tiebreak went the same way.Beautiful and almost perfect tennis from the US/INDIAN pair, leading 6-2 again but the same happened. They lost it again and the match too. They both had everything to close the set(twice) and win but destiny played a cruel twist, maybe they were never meant to win. They had a huge set points and match point and needed only 1 point but that 1 point eluded them.It must be really strange and dissapointing for both these wonderful atheletes and the Belarus players will agree that they were surprise with the win as they did not work for it.Fate snatch it from the deserving and talented pair. This scenario never happened earlier and will never happen again. My heart bleeds for them and no one deserve to go through such unfair and cruel circumstances.

Reaching a Grand Slam final is no mean achievment.

I have been a fan of Paes right from the time he started to play for India. His grit and determination allowed him to overcome opponents ranked far above him, when he played for India in the Davis Cup.

He and Martina Navratilova are examples of "old is gold".

The overpaid Indian cricket players (except Sachin in my opinion) should give up a part of their personal ambitions, and put in 100 per cent effort, when they play for the country.
