Pankaj Advani bids adieu In this game which is played by a few For the masses play cricket So that becomes big ticket But we still must give Billiards its due
This is a game where we%u2019re good But that fact is least understood So we prefer the cricket And go on to pick it As the game that is the most viewed
A cricket article gets read plenty Messages are posted by the twenty Whereas my message here Is quite alone I fear ! It%u2019s enough to make a man senti
So fellow sports-lovers I pray Say something for Billiards I say Where it isn%u2019t wrong To say India is strong Unlike most other sports that we play!!

Dexter,
I want to add my take, as your comments are left alone for a while.
Cricket is life for most Indians. You are either with them or against them. I mean Sachin, Saurav, Dravid. People become passionate, ready to give up their life (cyber?) for them. It is a good place for letting off steam and rejuvenate ourselves.
We are good in Chess, with world class players both men and women. Unfortunately, it is too cerebral and for most it is like watching the grass grow.
Your words are very nice, but may be a cry in the wilderness, as many would not even read the main news item.
