Friends, After the movie "Chak De" Indian women's Hockey has endeared itself to all of us. But we must carry this further to help our actual hockey women.
How often we have seen our Hockey women being jostled & Pushed by the strong Aussie women !. Now even Korea and China's Hockey women have become Physically Strong, Speedy and Skillful. Surely even in th above Match between India & China, Indian women's inferior physique must have been the real "Culprit".
Hockey has become a "power Game" and strength, Physique, Speed and Skill matter. Hence we must choose ladies from punjab, Haryana and himachal Pradesh who are Strong, of a Tall physique and with good stamina.
Skill aspect can be developed by both Copmuter simulation and actual "Astro Turf" practice. It is important to practice with emphasis on seperate strategy for each Nation we face.
I felt Sad when Indian Eves lost by just goal in doha Asian Games. Had they won it they would have automatically qualified for the Olympics but now they've to win this tournament, if they have to qualify for the Olympics.
May God give Indian Women Hockey players to imitate their "Filmi" sisters,
