lets all of us give only rs. 500 to the team for each goal...
if even 100 person here do so, it will amt to 500 * 100 = 50,000 for each goal.. and suppose they scored total 50 goals.. then.. 50,000 * 50 = 25,00,000 i.e. 25 lack for the team..
shall we start... lets see how many of us will come forward for the nation...

some people were criticizing for such a small amt for the national team. i too agree that amt is very small. but when its asked, lets do a penny for the nation, all mouths r shut.
this is india, whr people only shout and hardly very few do something for name.
and one of them r our indian hockey team! chak de india!
So long as his words are clear that it is not Rs 1000 for every goal allowed it is fine.The cricketers would definitely like to read between the lines. I hope now the Sardar has become a gentleman and not patting the posteriors(his once notorious incident) anymore.
The Sardar wanted to announce 1 lakah per goal but forgot how many zero's are there in 1 lakh so instead he announced this . Be patient with him yaar tommorrow he will come out with something else funny if you crticize him more he will stop these jokes.

He is not paying from his own pocket... he is announcing on behalf of IHF and this amount seems too meagre
