As a big fan of Argentina... i am very happy to see them on the top. I wish them all the best to win next world cup after 1986 which led by THE GREAT MARADONA.
most of the cricket playing nations are very weak in other sports except australia and england.. like in football, their rankings are: Pakistan - 181 bangladesh - 172 sri lanka - 169 india - 156 New Zealand - 128
even australia is not in top 50!
thats why australia didn't find strong competition in cricket and win most of its matches..
Because Europian team never won outside Europe and except Brazil in 1962 World Cup in Sweden Latin American Team could not won that crown in Europe.So this is the time for Latin American Team and who(Brazil or Argentina) will play better they will won World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
I am not an Astrologer otherwise I can say about one team but this is true. But I want Brazil as winner.
I am a firm believer that the champion team is number 1 in soccer till they are displaced from there next time..So for me Italy are number 1 and will remain so till Argentina wins World Cup
