The real reasons are that they are aware that they will be the last in every game and event. They are also aware that there will be drug detection tests before games. They are also aware that the Indian Army is participating in these games and so either they do not stand a chance or they are just afraid to compete with the Indian Army. Again, they are afraid that they will be defeated even by Armys of Bangla Desh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan etc. because in sports , the competitions are open and not from the backgrounds! They also know that China and their other friends are not going to help them to win the games. Perhaps they may also be aware that recruits from Taliban and terrorist outfits cannot be sent to such games. So it is better to keep away from games instead of facing pathetic failure in games for above reasons.

I agree! The Pakis might be doing something stupid - that might cause harm so, they are backing out - else what could be the reason.
Hope the organizers put extra checks and precautions and make the games a success. Good luck Indian military - hope you win lot of medals
