The writers on this blog are merely giving up watching Sania play. Imagine if any of us had to actually do it. Impossible. That's what keeping our country playing games that does not need any physical stress. Sania's determination is to be appreciated. The fact that she spends more days in a year playing international tennis than being with her family should give her rewards in the future. Another point being that being successful in tennis will give her greater rewards, than what our goverments can spare for tennis.

Swamy is right. Sania is inconsistent. If she was really determined then she would not have lost again to another mediocre player.

Sankara, Swamy and India .. go watch cricket. The losers are going to play again tomorrow. Tennis, or any physically demanding game is not your cup of tea. They sell coke and also hair cream.

Mr Swamy ,Do you think sania improved her ranking from 60s to 27 by losing match after match.Learn about the game and follow then give comments.This is not cricket,this game is played by so many developed countries which has better facilities and couching right from age 5 and many of the people are blessed with better physique genetically.Mr india ,do not insult India by writting such comment.

Mahesh why a comment of one mullah gets so much publicity.If you go and ask different religions priest they may give similiar comments.When world beauty peagent occured in banglore RSS did not approved that.This is all irrevelant and unproductive discussions and weekens the unity and integrety of Nation.Just be supportive to all other INDIANS.

Mr Khan, a 27th ranking tennis player does not deserve so much attention. In all honesty u will have to agree that she gets the attention and the concomitant money mostly due to her looks and figure than anything else. Lets just see Pankaj Advani, Vish Anand, Aparna Poppat, they are all surely better than ranked 27th in the world, how come we never see them on ads?? probably because they are not glamorous.. Let intellect prevail. think with ur brain and not ur d**k (excuse my language my intention is not to abuse but to educate)

MR swamy I can not speak in that language.You guys hardly know about tennis.How many female players comes in a year or decade or 25 years who ranks under 30.Most of the people bring religion in the discussion,use filthy language and simply hates muslims more than they love their chidren or other family members.Forget about achiements of Sania ,Is this the way in our Indian culture speak about girls.

I think you guys are being unfair by criticizing her. Agreed she hasnt had a consistent run recently but consider the fact that Indian does not provide any facilities for Tenis players. She has come up on her own. And she is World number 27, its not a joke. Dont be a mere criticizer. You easily forgive and forget Indian cricket team when they have string of losses. Why a pessimist attitude towards other sports. There are over 1000 professional Women players listed with WTA and Sania is at number 27. She didnt reach there by doing advertisements !!! She will have better days for sure.

arey yaar... vaise bhi opponents sania ke kapde ko dekh kar hi haarthe hain.. aur isee liye woh 27 rank thak pahunchi... aur kam kapde pehno aur rank mein aage bado...!!! Lage raho....Sania.. tumhaare kapde ka javaab nahin..!!!

My suggestion to the readers is not to under estimate Sania.
For all you know in the years to come, the political party which is in power at the Centre may get her elected as PM or President a-la-Pratibha Patil.
Try and collect her belongings from now onwards. They may fetch a good price later on. Collect her racquets, balls, etc..., etc.. now to become rich later.
We simply cannot bcoz lazy...examples Narain Karthikeyan,Amritrajs,Krishnans,Paes,Bhoopathy..& now Sania shortly will retire at young agae like others or play doubles...Content with accolades at home...Internationally not competetive....Of course good in Chess,cricket to some extent & future NO 1 in Golf bcoz these are lazy games..Ha Ha Chakde India
