Start of Federer's downfall
by Niranjan on Nov 19, 2007 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

This might be the start of Federer's downfall. When the champions' start boasting about their invincibility, there is a peculiar way for nature to act as a leveler.

After following Fedrer for all these years, i assume its more of posing a challenge, rather than arrogance. He wants a challenge. Someone should stand up and raise their hands.

Can Ferrer,Nalbandian, Nadal, Daydenko, Berdych, Gasquet throw a challenge to him

The best way to beat Federer would be to hit him over the head with a racquet :)

In the modern game, you're either a clay court specialist, a grass court specialist or a hard court specialist ... or you're Roger Federer.

Yes, he is arrogant this time. Ask him, how he feels against Nalbandian and Jokovich who become nightmare for him and also what about round-robin defeat against Gonzalez. By analysing all these, you can smell the future how Federer is loosing the ground, although he is best player of this time.

I think, sania mirza can beat Federer. Too bad, they don't allow mix single mathces.

Come on guys, know your limitations, before shooting from the hip.

Leander or Mahesh can beat Federer when they play him in a Doubles or Mixed doubles even. Not in Singles. Leander could upset Federer if Federer plays Davis cup or in the olympics. Leander like our filmy heroes (Who after taking Ma ka aashirwad thrash the villan or like Sehwag hitting a six after hearing his mother words) gets oodles of confidence when he plays for the country and can thrash anyone.
