our media dont give deserving coverage to sports thats why public dont know much abt this hero.
only bcoz of him, chess is the only sports india can dominate and control whole world.
anand have to leave india and settle in spain for his chess career..
anand have won world championship and world cups many times. he has been awarded by oscar awards 5 times!
anand's achievements are far more than other sportspersons in india!

Once Sachin was trying to hit you, but as you know his bat missed your face by a good 3 inches, he is not in form. Since you were not injured, you have no reason to hate him. Hate is injurious to your health.

You guys tend to compare every sport with cricket. Sachin is best sportsman India has ever produced. Never try to compare him with anybody. He is a legend and is above all critics.

u say sachin is the best india has produced, could u tell me why? what has he won for india? WC 96?, WC 99?, WC 03, WC 07, ICC knock out trophy?, Champions trophy? NatWest Trophy atleast!! if u r a sachin fan, fascinated by his stroke play, absolutely fine. enjoy his style of sport but don't try to issue statements. if me or someone says anand is the best at what he does, we have tons of info to support that. what have u got, except for being a fan?????? no offense buddy!! plz enlighten me if i don't know any tournament in which sachin has made a winning contribution.

i m a mumbaikar and still feel proud of anand. anand is india's no 1 sportsperson. he is yug purush.
did u know, spain govt have offered their citizenship to anand. but anand always denied even though spain have done so much for anand. this shows anand's greatness. he is the proud son of both india and spain.

I do not understand why this Jeevan guy is bringing Tamil into picture..It just shows his ignorance about talent, hardwork and passion ;Entire india felt proud at Anand's achievements. Be sportive and enjoy the moment ; Good luck Anand.

allthough...bulgarian chess fed is requesting FIDE to let Topalov play, FIDE is yet to take a decision i think.
