Support Hamilton
by Dasari Pavan on May 30, 2007 12:45 AM

McLaren should support Hamilton instead of Alonso for world championship. Every time someone should back up Alonso for championship. When he worked with Renault, Fisichella did the job. Now, with McLaren, Hamilton's turn. With Monaco race, it is quite clear that McLaren wants Alonso to be word champion and Hamilton should support him. Even though Hamilton is going with his team plan, he has the same points as Alonso. If McLaren supports this guy, definitely they have world championship in their pocket. As it seems that they are going with alonso, it will be like cat and rat race between Ferrari and McLaren upto last race. Common Mclaren, Hamilton has huge talent and he can definitely win world championship. He really deserves it. Be with this guy...You can get the world championship for which u r waiting from late 90s. Alonso is also a very good driver but not as good as Hamilton.

Kimi Raikonen

Two years back, I thought Kimi was the right man in the wrong car. I thought he had the attitude to be a true F1 Champion. Wonder what is happening to him now. I cannot agree that he doesnt have the attitude. I have watched a couple of his wins. He does drive ruthlessly.

I have always been a die hard Schumacher fan. But this guy might be the best of all times.
We'd never know...because the Schumi vs. Hamilton race will never take place.

Please do not air such proposals in public. Commies will come over and say how can the rich enjoy this when there are 300 million (?) poor in this country who have nothing to eat daily? And they will arrange a road roko in Delhi. But if you would suggest the same for Kolkata, they might sing a new tune, kill the innocents and build roads over them to accommodate Bernie Ecclestone... ;))

mclaren shines in monaco
by vinoth kumar on May 27, 2007 09:14 PM  | Hide replies

mclaren cars have secured both first and second placesi n monaco reace. just goes to show the dominace of mclaren in f1 history. the ferrai lost race even before it is actually started by losing the pole position to mclaren's.the maasa finsihed his race is poor.he was nearly one minute behind the both mclaren drivers.i expected the red devils to put up a good show.but both kimi and massa failed to live up to their reputation.the way hamiltion is driving i dont think no can stop him from winning his first drviers championship later this year.it is great to fight between to mclaren driviers and i hope i will contiue in the future races too.it is time for ferrai to pull up socks otherwise mclaren will run away with both the drivers and construction championship this year.at the same time i wonder why no other teams than mclaren and ferrai failing to win even first three pole position.i current sitiuation contiues for the another year or two.f1 fans lose their interest in the f1 race,so the fi governing body must do something to improve the calibre of other teams to improve the popluarity of the sport.i also wanted indian govrnment to consider the proposal of the private parties who showed their interest in constructing fi circuit in any of the metropolitian cities.that will help draw youngesters towards the sport.and also tourist from other countries.that improve our foreign economy.that also boost the image of our in the international arena so it is important for the govrnme

You know what, Indian public was never this frenzy about F1.Slowly but surely its gaining a lot of popularity.First it was Narain Karthikeyan then now its Vijay Mallya bringing F1 closer to India.

even when schumi ruled the roost.. he faced stiff competition in the likes of Hakkinen in the late 90's and Kimi in the early 2000's.. remember 2003 season when the championship went to the last race when schumi had to finish in the top 8 to retain the championship..and in 2005 & 2006...Alonso challenged schmi in every single race of the season..now without schumi, the doors are really open for Alonso to match the greats like Senna, prost, schumi to take 3 in a row..

In fact it has become more interesting after Schumi's retirement. During Schumi's reign the results were so predicted that people had started losing interest and thereby prompting the governing body to change some rules
