ha ha ha......
It is a tech based race and there is no individual hero like Sachin or Ronaldo or Roger or Tiger Woods....
If the car is fastest and he is the winner..
Today Ferrari and Renault are faster..
Previously Ferrari and McLaren are faster...

I dont agree with you mate, It requires a lot of skill.why does Massa performing well where as Kimi is finding it difficult with Ferrari ? keeping a side the technical failures, it requires so much effort to finish a race.A driver usually looses 4 kilos of weight for a single race because of gravitational thrusts.F1 is a far far tougher sport than lazy cricket or Tennis.A single mistake and you are out ...

Schumi's retirement not makin any issues @ all. see how rookie Hamilton is performin'.. 'n Hats off to Alonso, he proved tat he's the best with his Renault for 2 years, now along with Hamilton, he's taking McLaren to the Top. I do believe Raikkonen is a better driver than Schumi, but he's unlucky always with lotza engine failures 'n all.. 'n those people who dont luv' F1, DONT WATCH IT.. NOBODY IS COMPELLING YOU, go and watch Cricket. if you know the game, know the tactics ( itz a Team game ), or atleast if u luv' the power of machine, u'll definitely luv' this game.

Yeah he may be your favourite, but he is definitely not a synonym of F1.Alonso is a better driver he is gonna break all the records of Schumi. My bet is Ayrton Senna is the best driver ever, Shcumi is good but very unsporting and cunning.Watch out for Lewis Hamilton, As per my prediction he is one of the future champions.

Blitzkrief. You seem to have fallen into the trap of idolising and romanticising the ones who die....Senna was a great driver, but he had his flaws. Do check his history and you will see he was as 'unsporting' and 'cunning' as Schumi...in fact, Schumi was just emulating Senna when he took out Damon Hill to win his first championship. Senna too, before he tragically died, was as hated and loved a figure as Schumi. Perhaps the hallmark of all great drivers is the controversy they create as they strive to raise the bar and set new standards.
And please note that setting new standards is not the same as setting new records!
As for Alonso, I cheered for him in 2005...then came his embarrassing behaviour in the second half of 2006. Till then he was gung ho...even cocky... and full of praise for Renault and team make Fisichella. Then as Ferrari stormed back following the American leg, the moaning started. He accused everyone, starting from F1 authoroties to rivals Ferrari to even his own team and team mate, of conspiring against him. Is that what you call 'sporting' behaviour?
As for his driving skill, I assure you Hamilton has more skill in his little finger. Take it from an avid F1 follower and someone who knows racing from the inside.

agreed totally yar.
skill is one thing.. most drivers in f1 have it. those who utilise it to the maximum always do better. and being successful also implies being a tough competetor by whihc controversies follow.
but seein kimi struggle is taking the sting out of a otherwise fast ferari for the team as a whole. thye may find it difficult to come back if kimi keeps disappointing.

yes very true..Ayrton Senna the best ever driver.
If he is alive we could have seen many a records.
Unfortunately that didnt happen..We all miss a true champion..But that cannot be said for Schumacher because he used unfair tactics to win some of the races,if not all..

Yes. Kimi will finish in Top 5 only when he finishes a race. He has a terrific(!!!) record of finishing two out of every five races.

Very tough, I guess you dont know anything about Monaco circuit.Overtaking is very tough. My prediction goes MClarens, Massa, and the BMW drivers will be the first 5.Honestly Kimi is a more hyped driver.he doesnt possess the skill of Alonso ....

Blitzkrief, we meet again! Let me just add to your comment....Kimi is more than Alonso's equal when it comes to driving skill. The difference between the two is that Kimi always pushes the car to the limit (remember how he refused to pull in for a wheel change in 2005 and ended up totalling his Mclaren on the penultimte lap? If he had gone for a change, he would have finished 2nd, taken 8 points and won the championship, which as we all know went to Renault) Alonso, on the other hand, is 'softer' on the car - that doesnt make him the better driver, though it does make him a superior strategist. The real hero, unsung as of now, is Hamilton....that boy has what it takes to be a legend in the Schumi/Senna league. And Massa is definitely a dark horse here. Monaco will be an interesting race!

Jagat saab: Astute analysis, well said!!!do come forward at every discussion and enlighten the rest of the self proclaimed Buddhas of F-1,
To articulate what u have said, Kimi and Alonso are extremes in terms of styles., Schumi ranks higher than the other2 coz he combined the 2 approaches most effectively -"Mad Aggression: Always under control", hardly a mechanical failure when he drove...except at Suzuka last year...am i right???
