Congratulations to JCT and CB. With their top quality performances JCT and CB scored important victories over better rated opponents in the second leg. The two teams looked very settled as the league progressed. Coach Sukhi of JCT and the Moroccan coach of CB have done wonders with the talent at their disposal.
Often a settled look is achieved when the core of the team plays together for a decent number of seasons. On that count alone Dempo Sports Club is way ahead of the rest. In the good old days mighty EB, MB and MSC fielded solid units who played together year after year and posed unsurmountable problems to their opponents across the country. Looking at their rich past the giants of Indian football need to move ahead with renewed vigour to face their challengers in the new season.
