Mr. Shanavas,

The drivers championship 1 & 2 positions are with Mc Laren, The builders championship #1 position is with Mc Laren. Get your basics right. This is not cricket where Australia wins by default. This is a fiercely competitive sport with so many technicalities that lesser mortals like you cannot make off the cuff remarks and think they are right.

Mr Surya,

Basics are always right... Only 4 races are over.... there are still 13 to go... A lead of 9 points can vanish in a single race.... Alonso is over rated and media is killing hamilton by saying he is the next micheal... a real joke...

Doesn't matter.. Ferrari won 3 of the first 4 races.. So it's hard to catch them.. Only thing they need now is consistency with both there cars finishing.. And the title is up for grabs.. Well done Massa..

Alonso feels the pressure from Hamilton
by jeevithesh s on May 14, 2007 12:27 AM  | Hide replies

I think that Fernando Alonso is overrated, in spite of being a two time world champion, he was over hyped by the same media because the Brits have prejudiced against MS; after all, he's a bloody German. The truth of the matter is: Fernando was never a better driver than Michael, the Renault with its Michelin tires, much superior to Bridgestone during the 2005 and the first half of the 2006 seasons, and the Mass Dampers on the Renault gave the Renault its superiority over the Ferrari; only after Bridgestone managed to improve their tires in the second half of last season and Renault's Mass Dampers were banned did Michael manage to close the gap almost winning an 8th world title. What does that say about Fernando Alonso? Not much. I'm not surprised rookie Lewis Hamilton is laterally walking all over him. All expert analysis by Britain%u2019s Motor racing greats and experts that Michael makes mistakes and Alonso doesn%u2019t because he has such a mature head-just look at him today on his home Grand Prix.

Kimi - a bad F1 driver
by on May 13, 2007 08:34 PM  | Hide replies

Kimi is not a daring F1 driver and cannot win any race because of his lack of confidence in himself and also his lack of willpower to drive a F1 car to its best. When he was in the Maclaren team, he could not even get a podium finish and see what Alonso and Hamilton ( a rookie) are doing. Kimi even witha Ferrari car is driving like a novice and cannot even overtake Hamilton. I think Narain Karthikeyan would have done better if he was given a Ferrari. Ferrari should dump Kimi and get Schumacher back.

Problem Kimi has as most ppl know is that he is purely a good driver where as other drivers get more involved in technical aspects as well, which gives them the edge, I feel that even 2day his limited technical knowledge wld have hampered his ability to make best use of machine.

These car faults always happen to Kimi. And why not, he never mingles with his team engineers and others in his free time, unlike Massa or Schumacher. He doesn't give proper feedback....lack of communication is his problem...probably they can't understand whatever he murmurs.

Kimi is never a team man; although a good driver. He is jealous about Schumi and have no doubts that cant even come close to a legend.
Always seen Kimi cribbing about the car in the driver quotes and interviews. He has to learn a lesson from Schumi who kept his cool even after an engine failure that deprived him of the title.
Massa on the other hand is a humble person willing to learn and I wish he goes a long way.Well done Massa.

Lets put it this way. Kimi is the most natural driver on the F1 circuit, who can do much better being a lit'l more ambitious and self confident. He is also long overdue for a bit of good luck.

I mentioned this elsewhere. Four drivers fighting neck-break for the championship, each race a different winner - yet, someone calls it a boring game!!

Oh! maybe someone finds the two-horse race of premeier league exciting or maybe the India Bangladesh series truly makes someone's day!!

Lesser said about the worldcup the better !
