VICTORY AND DEFEAT IS NOT IMPORTANT.WHAT MATTERS FOR LONG TERM GOALS IS WHETHER WE HAVE THE RIGHT TECHNIQUE TO COUNTER THE TECHNIQUE'S OF ALL OTHER GLOBAL TEAMS. WE SHOULD BE MORE SCIENTIFIC IN SPORTS AND NOT JUST LOOK AT VICTORIES.

Kudos to the Indian Hockey team for their great performance so far in the Azlan Shah trophy.This is a young side without some of the big stars like Dilip Tirkey, Gagan Ajit Singh and Ignace Tirkey. I think the success of PHL is showing it's results.India's 1983 cricket world cup victory, started the downfall of Hockey in India.Now let's hope the downfall of the cricket team in world cup 07 will do a world of good for hockey in India.Let's hope the national game will shine again like the earlier days.

great work guys...prove that cricket is not the only sport in the country..now that cricket is down in dumps..show the world which our national game is
it is great to see indian hockey in winning terms.though they won against the ordinary team like argentia win is win .i am sure this win will boost the confindence of the indian players ahead of the much important semifinal encounter.my best wishes to them.

Mr. Vinoth, for your information Argentina is not an ordinary team.From the earlier days India suffered whenever they play against Argentina or Spain.Either they loose or win with close margin.This young Indian side is playing well but a lot of improvement is desired.
