you are cent percent correct. No professionalism no results, thats the mantra of todays sports.
First of all what sardar singh ,didar singh,harpal singh doing in the team ,All have seen their performance in PHL.They have been selected because 3 singhs r there in selection panel.
Losing games for india either in cricket OR Hockey(don't name even indian football) has become the blood and bone,so they don't feel any guilt in that,bcz they lack of commitment, dedication, accountability, moral and over all spirit.They deserve to lose any game againest any strong or weak opponent/country.

Prashant you are wrong my dear friend. You cant the players for letting the country down. Its more because of the federation that the sports suffer, be it hockey or cricket or football or athletics. without proper guidance, coaching, good prizes, good practice, players cant manage to win in this hard world of sports. We focus more on organizing games instead of improving our standard in it. Most of the countries back out of bidding for olympics etc is so that they can first improve their standard and dont have to be ashamed in their own country. Hockey is being run by a dictator for so long, who has simply ruined the national game and gr8 players associated with it (pillay, gagan ajit singh etc). So why blame players, lets fight against the corruption in sports and these autocratic self styled sports dictators...

Yeah man,
If you have an idiot like Gill to run hockey then this game can only go to ruin.
Why can't we put pressure on the Central Govt and ask them to sack the Union Minister of Sports or even threaten to vote against the Govt only because of this reason. Then only the guys will take us seriously

Indian teams loses in all the sports attributes to lack of practice they have. Practice makes perfect. Indian cricket team players will be more happy visiting foriegn countries with their wives.... they don't like to do practice daily. If we want something to be perfect or winning something, we must keep on practice. That is the solution to have a winning streak.

Good one LOL ,buzzer. However lets not have World Cups for these games. We shouldnt let others know about these games,and lose our status as Number One in them too, plzzzzzzz...
when i saw the match live, actually Indians dominated over australia but the ultimate went in favor of Austalia, Indian need to practice more on scoring field goals, they are not able to convert the goals which in the circle, they need to improve on penalty corners. if they can over come this they will be in the top of world hockey. best of luck for the remaining matches

That's right Kiran. India has improved a lot. They will gain confidence only when they start winning. Losing 0-1 or 0-5 will fetch same points (zero) for India. Hope they will improve in the remaining matches

Don't joke optimist....Australia is playing without seven of their World Cup stars. Imagine if they have played them. Indian team had lost the match even though Australia is not playing of their world cup stars. It is a total mess from indian team.
Indian hockey team has lot of youngsters in this tournamanent. They showed their skill and fight hard even though they lost against aussies. Simalarly, bring more youngsters in Indian cricket team to show their skills. Please enough enough enough of these old dogs.
Indians fought bravely and lost (1-0)to Olympic champion.They have shown atleast fighting spirit and not like Cricket loosing to minnows like Bangladesh!!!!!

Ramadurai Karthi UR From which country mate ur name sounds tamilian what does You India mean ?? or only india means The "Great" Indian Cricket Team which didnt make it to Super 8 in an 8 team sport atleast hockey is played in more countries like germany holland and yeah now even china ,China and europeans play sport which is fast and finish fast no wonder there economies are so gr8 they dont waste time for boring evenst like WC 2007
It is time that we Indians pay some attention towards hockey and support this sport rather than going after the cricketers for making them richer by the day.
