While our junta mostly admires and also curses other "popular sports" figures across the country, Viswanathan Anand alone has stood out on sheer performance over the past 2 decades, which is quite exemplary and extraodinary by all standards and very much worthy emulating. Be it classical chess game or rapid or skittles (Comparable to a cricket test match,one dayer & 20-20 respectively)he has demonstrated and established his prowess in all forms of the game. And very importantly, he has managed to handle all his success in a very dignified manner and has kept a clean slate devoid of any controversy what so ever. I wish him all the very best and hope that he would continue to excel and bring more laurels to our country!! May God bless him and give us many more such great personalities!
