I understand that India is really very luckey to get this golden opportunity of holding the World Cup Men's Hockey in New Delhi in Feb.2010? Any country would be proud of getting such opportunities. It is a different matter that Indian hockey is passing through an unhappy situation and not performing to it's past glory and reputation.But this news would certainly enhance the morale of the India players and I think the standard of the current players will also improve.I wish Mr.Gill could be fair enough to select the deserving coaches first of all and than the players on their calliber not colours of their skin? Only fair selection can give the best results otherwise not? I thought the article meant India was likely to lift the World cup Chey!!! Anyway, Rahul Dravid has already lifted the CWC this time(Refer pics of opening ceremony). I thought the Hockey guys were dreaming some similiar stuff
