After the Hockey World Cup and Asian Games Gill asked why nobody questioned India's 6-0 football drubbing to Japan:Does he know India's World ranking in the two games? If there is no belief/committment at the top there is no hope. Gill is over the hill and should gracefully step down.
In the Robobank tournament, Indian Players consistently faulted in the scoop and raised balls into the D: was this nerves,inexperience or what? I think the Top players are constantly being favoured by refrees/organisers and hence get used to unfair play.
Only solution is removal of Mr Gill from IHF then only we will have the word 'Hockey' in India in future otherwise next generation will do not have the word 'Hockey' in India
This guy Gill, is regularly replacing others. But he being head of Indian Hockey doesn't take responsibility for the state of Indian Hockey. Somebody please remove him. Otherwise Indian Hockey will die with him.
if joe is given the mantle of affairs to coach the indian team he wud do his job reasonably well. the team has to be overhauled, tejbir, adam,halappa , have to be repalced, jugraj,gagan,the penaly specialist from BPCL HAVE TO BE GIVEN A CHANCE ALONG WITH DINESH NAIK, OLYMPIAN VJ PHILIPS AND JEYASEKHARAN MUST BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO DEVELOP THE SUB-JUNIORS.FOR A LONG TIME WE HAVE FORGOTTEN THE PYRAMID PATTERN OF PLAY WHICH SUITS OUR INDIANS WHEN PLAYING AGAINST CHINA THIS WAS THE GLARING ERROR COMMITTED BY THE THINK TANKS OF THE TEAM,VIREN RASQUINHA HAS TO STOP TALKING AND PLAY UP TO HIS POTENTIAL.SELECT PLAYERS WHO CAN PASS AND NOT OVERDRIBBLE,DEVESH CHAUHAN NEEDS TO BE USED AGAIN, AND THE TAMIL NADU GOALKEEPER, NATARAJAN IS ALSO GOOD.ASK OUR FORWARDS NOT TO PASS IN THE D LINE THEY SHUD HIT AND GO FOR THE REBOUND,U REMEMBER RODRICK BOWMAN OF HOLLAND AND SHABAZ OF PAKISTAN?
