he deserves the coverage n adulation.... n guys unhappy with it have to put up with it till HE decides to hang up his boots...

Do you know the number of goals Lampard is scoring this EPL..17 more to come..? For England esp. during 2004-05, he played very well....can't you see Backamp limping his leg during WC playing against Portugal, playing pathetic...You comment make no sense when you talk about Lampard...Please don%u2019t make unnecessary comment about Lampard without knowing anything about him..... Don%u2019t tell me that limping & lier ManU / RM rule......Chelsea gets better with the ball...as Lampard cross and score the goals.....

hmmmm..... yeah.... he did score for chelsea..... he was awesome in the wc qualifers as well.... no doubts.... but what did he do in WC... he probably had the most shots at goal without scorin.....
n beckham has done pretty well with limited chances he has got in real madrid this season.... y is he outta the mational side ???
n u dont throw ppl outta teams coz he is injured.... owen limped away .. still he is in the team...... becks is not outta the team for proper reasons... n thats what m sayin.... any reason u would say for beckham u ll find another player with a worse performance....

Who cares for Beckham. Whether he is injured or not. Both he and his so called Posh wife likes and loves popularity/fame. They always make sure that they are higlighted in UK newpapers atleast once in a week. Can't live without their news in headlines. Good they got rid of him from England team.

I agree ajay, beckham has got skills hes got the stylish looks which very few footballers have, he is a mix of style and soccer. He is a global phenomenon, and if my friends have a problem with him earning and the others dont then i want them to note that all the EPL players get a good amount of money, its just a matter of who plays how and who has the attitude to attract media. becks knows it well. Why dont you tell sachin to step down and let others have a chance what makes him play each and every game without performing. and never the less who knows tendulkar outside the continent and some cricket playing countries.

Dear Abhijit, I agree with you when it comes to Bekham but comparing him with Sachin is comparing the polar bear with the american grizzly bear. It just doesn't make sense. And for Sachin not performing in every match (I really have no idea why everyone harps about it) I do not agree with you. If you follow Bekhams career, you will see that even he has not consistently delivered. For example the World Cup where it was Rooney or England had no chance. Even Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were flops. So why Sachin again?
Never compare two sports and two great sportsmen. The worst thing about us Indians is that when Sachin is playing well, he's God. And when he isn't he's the devil. In fact I prefer the latter because that has made our selectors to take a team which can perform without him.
Beckham, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho all show brilliance in one out of 5 matches. All the brilliance does not result in personal goals. Only a few do.
Why do we forget those brilliant moments by Sachin?
One more question. How many days in a month can you say you performed remarkably well at your work? One day in a month? Two, three or five? Be honest to yourselves and then judge others.
