We seem to drag in religion and controversy at every opportunity. Instead of religion bringing peace to mankind, it has brought division due to the acts of few who go to any extent in spreading poison.
Let Sania enjoy her tennis and give her best. After all tennis career especially for women is short, like for heartthrob actresses in movies. She has reached heights not seen by others from India.
We should not unnecessarily impute wrong meanings to her every word. She might have mentioned Pakistan, as being a Muslim they were offended by her dressing. She cannot obviously make a point like doing a Golovin. It can raise temperatures for different reasons in different persons.
I also laugh at the hypocrisy of people. Many talk in a self righteous way. Please live and let live.
One simple question. Has anybody seen God? So why raise temperatures for an unseen person. Our concept of the supreme being can be limited by our imagination. It can turn also to be a damp quib. Absolutely correct. It is absurd to drag religion with game.Sania should choose anyone as partner with whom she has better chances of winning a tournament. She is playing as an individual but it adds glory to India. Keep it up Sania.My good wishes alongwith millions of Indian are with you.
CONTD ....., but in reciprocal what do hindus get, - abuses, terrorism, bombs, accusations, etc. Friends, its high time Hindus stopped pleasing people from other religion and just let them on their own, - infact its said that - 'a hindu is a hindu's greatest enemy'. Let this not be the case in the future, let Hindus stand together forgetting their internal differences and stand up against the bad elements in other religions, and get to know the hidden bad intentions of these non-beleiving communists who claim to be seclar but make a clear appeasement when it comes to choosing between a muslim or hindu. If anyone has noticed, what does she mean by "We really don't care whether she's from Israel or I'm from Pakistan" - Isnt she from India, I suppose this goes to show that most muslims in India feel Pakistan is their true home country. And the 'secularists' claim that all muslims consider India to be their motherland. Its only in Hindu religion that we give so much importance to our JanmaBhoomi and KarmaBhoomi, but probably the muslim religion doesnt feel that one's motherland should be above oneself and pne's religion. I gues there isnt any phrase in Quran which is equivalent to "Janani Janma Bhoomishca Swargadapi Gareeyasi" (Mother and Motherland are greater than Heaven). No disrespect to muslims, but they and the 'secularists' should look at themselves and ask as to are they truly sacrificing themselves to their motherland which gives them life, honour, a place to earn a living, etc. Its only and only in Hindu sacred texts, like Bhagwad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, etc, that again and again are we reminded that serving our country and fellow citizens, no matter what religion he is following, or infact even if he is non-believer, is the greatest service to mankind. This is utterly shameful if in fact she did say it . I hope rediff got her statement right. If she did say "I'm from Pakistan" then she should stop representing India henceforth. Please take up citizenship in Pakistan or whichever country she thinks she belongs to. Imagine the controversy that would arise if any Indian politician or Indian cricket player said that they were from a different country. This is really disgraceful. Why are Indians even supporting this really terrible player who thinks she belongs to another country. Lets hope she didn't say it.
