wimbledon has lost its charm in the recent years. the buzz which surrounded the slam of slams is missin these days. its also evident from the very mediocre coverage that the slam gets in the print media. its probabaly because we have the same winner every year with no real challengers around. woman's tennis has become more of a platform to make fashion statements. it makes for an interesting viewin but if they learn some tennis then it would make the viewing even better

Dear Vipin, The very statement of urs that "we have the same winner evry year with no real challengers" beats me no end... In fact they are cald as winners who win day in n day out n any sort of surface. If we have diffent winners for diff surfaces in diff years then that wud be boring, for they wud not be called as winners they wud be cald one slam wonder or flash in a pan... so get ur basics rite....

i didnt ask u a definition of who is a winner and who is not. but contests and rivalries are what makes any sport interesting to watch. but here u ve only one king federer and no one close to him. thats y the slam has lost its sheen
