Sania is not the best player (yet) but she is the best thing happened for Indian women sports in general, and Muslim women in particular. She is athletic, goodlooking, glamorous, and all that. When did we last have such a woman in the lime light in India (barring the Italian Widow)!

Good to see something different this time. Every time it used to be 'Sania storms into round two' and next day it would be 'Sania crashes out of second round'.
I knoe wat rediff is actually doing!! making a scrapbook of the worst comments given by the ppl to Sania Mirza. That's y this news is still there in the Sprots ka coloumn. Ppl, u may not hav realised this .. but u see common sense is not so common!!
She can quit playing tennis. That will be a good service that she can do for our indian tennis. There are so many youngsters coming up in different events . But we don't give importance to them. But we have given sufficient importance to her. She never achieved and moreover she is a first round loser. It is a better time for her to think about her retirement even before some incidents will push her to do the same.
