This guy has a tremendous serve complimented with a very good volley. Very few players currently in the circuit play such a volley. I am sure he will qualify as his confidence will be very high after reaching queens finals. I hope to see him move up at least to the quarters in wimbledon. Good luck Mahut!!!

Absolutely....its such a refreshing change to finally see someone serve-and-volley....its one of the main reasons why Federer has no competetion outside clay....players these days just cant serve-and-volley!!!!....John McEnroe was absolutely right when he said Sampras will be the last serve-and-volley player...He was disappointed that this genre had come to an end....Most champions were infact serve-and-volleyers...Sampras, Becker, Edberg, Rafter, McEnroe, etc....they were such good attacking players and truly amazing....Today's top players apart from Fedex, i.e., Nadal, Roddick, Davydenko, Nalbandian, etc are just bunnies at the net!!!....such a pity!!!

It is not possible to serve and volley any more because of improvement in racquet technology.
Even average guys can hit amazing passing shots from most difficult positions now with terrific top spin which is very difficult to control, and hence has lead to decline in serve and volley.
The tennis govering body has to do something with racquet (reducing the racquet head size or some changes....so that
skill will control the game rather than technology.
