As far as i know leander pees plays well only in doubles and goes only a few steps before being ousted! I am sure he will be beaten in the tournament soon !! Actually he is not fully an Indian..

Hirak, Y don't u go and bang ur head on the wall??R u on drugs??Leander has won 7 grand slams which can be matched only by Mahesh Bhupathi who won 10 major events..Apart from this, Leander is one of the best players ever in Davis Cup..He won an olympic bronze for India..Whenever India is on the verge of losing a davis cup tie he rises like a phoenix and carries India through..Get ur facts right before making such silly statements..What do u mean by "not fully an Indian?" He is an Indian citizen by birth..He was born and brought up in Calcutta..His father(Vace Paes) was a member of the gold winning hockey team also..

please get your facts right, Leander has won many Grand Slams in Doubles and he has won the US Open 2006, (this refutes ur claim that goes only few steps) and he is 100% Indian, look at his record at the Davis Cup, he has also won us a Bronze medal in Sigles at the Olympics, so PLS DONT TALK RUBBISH who ever u r

I think u r a moron. U do not have knowledge in tennis or u do not follow it..He is one of the superstar of India.
While Leander Paes and Mahesh Bupathy consitently play well and get pride for India by winning many tournaments in doubles, Sania gets all attention for miserably failing. She gets too much attention in media while these men quietly focus on their game. Hope these men can spread tennis fever in our nation. Hate off to these MEN.
It is funny that recently there was talk on giving Rajiv Khel ratna to Rahul Dravid, who has failed miserably to lead the team in World cup, and there wasn't any talk about giving the award to Paes even though he delivered consistently to the nation.

Could he ever perform playing singles? He is playing with a foreign partner, that means he is not representing India....that makes him not eligible for rajiv khel ratna or whatever award......doubles tennis is very very very lowely rated in the world of tennis thats why highly ranked players don't often play doubles. if you closely watch his game he is a below ordinary player in the world of tennis.

Santosh, Man r u on drugs??How can u forget his performances in the Asian Games, Olymics and Davis cup..Get out of cricket man..The cricketers have not ever achieved 10% of what leander achieved in his sporting career..

dude..santosh..have u ever held a tennis racket in your hand ? The game of doubles is unique. The 2 best single players coming together wont make the best doubles team. Its a team sport and these are very skilled players. You are dissing the singles talent of leander. How can u forget his great singles performances in Davis Cup and the olympics where he even won a bronze for this nations always pathetic show at olympics ? Get a life, man
