Federes is playing internatinal tennis in time wehere the competions is very less or more players having talen are not tuning themsevles up for thier upwward rise in tennis. Players suffering from injurries not being able to pariticpate or perform to their best. However, federes is a great player but shows signs of neverousness or does not play his best against a talented player. International players with budding talents are not suracing from the junior levels like Borks Bekcer, Peter Sampras, Andre Agassi, Michal Stick, Michal Cheng with stubborn attitude on clay court, Wayner Ferrera, Mark Philliosuss - underperformer and an errring character Any Roddick.
With all said, Federer has a intrenatinal class of great players and Nadal is the only player who has the character of defeating federes in final.
Nadal still has a great change of being the clay court champion.
Clay is the most toughest suraface in tennis to play on and win. Federes does not like clay court where potential is a must mixed with discipline and groundstorkes and overall game.

You forget one thing, Federer won the Clay court tournament 'Tennis Masters - Hamburg' for 3 times. Federer is the only player in the circuit who could play well in all the surfaces. Nadal could only excel in clay but notin other surfaces. Also, forget Federer defeated Sampras in his own home in 2001 Wimbledon 4th round in 5 sets; this alone is the best proof for Federer's capability; then, thrashed Agassi in 2005 USOpen final; thrashed all the big guys like Hewitt, Safin, Roddick. So, whatelse you people want him to prove? Wait for a day, Federer will win Roland Garros in 5 sets.
