Without Sharapova , The Ladies final will be non watchable event . Ladies Tennis players abolsutely suck ,Their standard of play is way below the men's tennis . They have no guile and point build as in men's tennis . All they do is grunt all the way forcing to mute the TV .I don't know how they justify theie equal pay anyway , other than looking beautiful.

I agree with u yaar..believe me..almost all men watch women's tennis only for the glamour factor yaar...there is no enthusiasm as compared to men's tennis...quality tennis ...only a few women players come to mind...like steffi graf, martina etc.

Agreed. If they demand equal pay because they want to be considered on par with men, they should also play a best of five sets. But then they would like to play a best of 3 sets because they would like to be considered different than men. Just a convenience factor! Well said women's tennis is pretty dull as compared to men's tennis no matter whatever the women libber's want to say!

I do not wish to debate the equal pay issue or the best of 3 or 5 set matches. But saying that women's tennis is pretty dull is something that doesnt go down too well with me. I believe Justine Henin has the best backhand in the game (men included). Note: I am not including Federer here, he is incomparable. In terms of matchups a Serena vs Henin or a Serena vs Sharapova draws as much attention / excitement that a Nadal vs Federer does. Especially in Wimbledon in men's tennis its almost impossible to see any long rallies, thanks to the powerful serves aided by the grass, women's tennis is a lot more enjoyable there!

I understand you do not want to debate on the best of 3 or 5 matches and pay issue because of the "convenience factor". Just compare the top 100 matches in men with the top 20 matches in women. You will understand what I am saying. God has made women not for playing tennis or imitating men. But women want to imitate men and they will miserably fail.

Well there are lots of FCS's around. If you dont know what that means it is female chauvinist sow (Sow is called a female pig). It is time we males should get together and request for a backward class quota since women are getting preference for everything. We are being exploited by these women by their so called women's liberation movement!
