Hey, don't spread unnecessary gossips! If you have any useful suggestions to improve the team work, please post them. Now let's hope that our Sania will succeed at least in the mixed doubles.

this is the kind of comments people should refrain from. it's either deliberate mischief mongering else pure ignorance!
please avoid making such cursory remarks...

Shut up harit and lina. What do you know about tennis? Rediff is rightly reporting about performance of Indians at French open. Sania has done reasonably well. She lost to 7th seeded player in the second round in the singles match. In doubles, she lost to top seeds. Some stupids are writing that she is paired up with a man to win. That is called mixed doubles wherein a man and a woman combine together and play. Sania is a talented player so Santoro joined her.

Sania-Santoro cruise into 2nd round
by Manoj Nair on Jun 02, 2007 04:22 PM  | Hide replies

A Real player is tht who show his/hers ability as a player by playing in a singles match and not in a doubles match and that too with the support of another person and that is a male too. cammon man, I am not under estimating her as a player but she can be termed only as a doubles player and she never stand tall when it comes to the qualities of an International Player. Onething she can do is play as much matches here in India so that she can have some wins under her belt. Dont just get excited if she wins in a mixed match Mr...... SHE REALLY NEEDS TO LOOSE HER WEIGHT AND THT IS PERIOD.
