I Hope I dont see a headline like "Sania Crashes out of the 2nd round" tomorrow ... for it has become a pattern for Sania now a days .. a Celebrated first round victory followed by a "Cele-abated" second round!
Sania is ranked 35 and she had hard time defeating Morigami whose rank is 44.
Also, rediff need to get its fact right. Golovin is ranked 19th and not 6th. rediff news standard is very cheap. I feel pity when ppl start arguing over such useless issue.
we should appreciate Sania when she defeats Golovin. good luck

Dumbass Anurag. You think you are very smart..read the news again. It said Sixth Seed Golovin and not sixth ranked. Seedings are based on the rankings of the players in the particular tournament. Since there are not many big name players the 19th ranked player is seeded sixth.

dont pretend that you know a lot anurag... know ur basics first.. the 6th is the seeding for this tournament and not her global ranking..this shows how u wrote ur comments above and how cheap they could be?btw how many tennis tournaments have you played and won or anything that you have contributed to the country in any form ?

I agree anurag with all except 6th seed for Golovin. She is ranked 19th but 6th seed in Bank of West Classic tournament. So rediff is right in that.

i think she is not.because tennis is a individual game.nothing related with country.if she can get medal in olympic or asian games it will be proud to india

iam too proud not for her game but for her assests.........she make us really proud
Sania is the sole Indian hope at present in the world of tennis-singles. It is our duty to encourage her. It is no mean feat to be in the top 50 these days. To come from a modest background and modest means and to strive for the top is an effort to be applauded. The crdit goes to Sania as well as her family. Blame the corporations and the media for taking advantage of her status - not her. She does not ask for all the hype. She is trying to make her place - what is wrong with that?

Good Match !!!!!!!Do not be over confident you may loose the match play the same way and the stanford willbe ours
In my opinion, rediff wants to get some cheap publicity and some cheap comments on this forum. why else would would they post the image they did when they are clearly other pics they could have posted? Stop it rediff and readers get some life.

Sonal, Any pic of Sanoo in action is bound to evoke enthsiasm of viewers, wo cheez hi aisee hai. Allah has given her a cherubic innocent face & a curvacious figure. Nose-ring is her own value addition . Which other pics of Sans R U talking about? The one in Burqa taken @ Mecca, or another in a Towel ? U seem to be as bad as the fossilised Mullahs . Leave the kid alone, I say chaps! She is bringing glory to India, in her own way, Alhum du lillah.Let her be a 20yr. old, normal child.

Sorry Sonal, perhaps I over reacted. I felt that U 've something against her pics posted by Rediff. I'm saying that there is nothing wrong even with these pics . Since we R both her admirers, its OK.

It lies in the eyes of the beholder. I didn't see any thing cheap from the above pic.

the pic is not cheap ... i guess its bound to show when you hit a forehand. however, a more conservative pic would probably not get some of the cheap readers all this excited.
