Hello, I think you havent seen the race. There is no If and But in F1.Its all about adaptability and Fernando is just perfect at it.
Even with out rain he is catching Massa at around 0.8 seconds a lap and should've overtaken him before 7 laps to finish.
If you dont like FA as a person then its ur problem

People who are discriminating are the ones who cant see F1 beyond Ferrari and Schumi.

fantasic fernando
by vinoth kumar on Jul 23, 2007 04:21 PM

Perhaps this fernando's bedt race of this season.i like way how he overcame massa in the final stages of the race.he once proved very one that still he is force to reckon with in f1 race.this race showed all how determined he was to win the race .the way he got pass massa was a fantasic piece of driving.no one other than alonso could have even dream of executing that move.but it was bad race for his teammate hamlinton who lookin for the tenth podium finish in a row.but for the accident in the qualification he could have finished in the top three.kimi hopes of winning the drivers championship is all but over.here after he should help his teammate massa to win his frist drivers cahnpionship.gap is getting wider and wider between the ferrai and mclaren it is well known thing ferrai ha to win all forth comong race to have chance of wininig constructors championship.i feel happy that hamliton was not injured at all after trye failure even after hitting wall over speed of 140 kmhr.which shows the reliablity of these days f1 cars.

Some guys in this room are quoting that Alonso is lucky and some may claim that he is unsporting.
I can only say that these words are just the results of not able to see this guy as the best driver around.
If any one has followed the qualifying and the race then they will realise that FA is the most deserving of all.He almost finished at Pole despite of a error in the last flying lap.
During the race he chased FM at almost 0.8 seconds a lap which is enough for him to win the race even with out rain.
People may call him a cry baby but atleast he is very sporting on the track unlike Schumi ( Who once has attacked David Coulthard in the pits and not to mention his on track controversies).
Come on guys He is a two time champ and is destined to win 3rd in a row.Hate him or love him You just cant ignore him.

is like our Sachin Tendulkar, when the going gets tough he goes into hiding ha ha. Raikonnen is a useless sissy who when the big boys drive hard in a crunch race, does not even complete the race.

Alonso is too proud of himself
by Harish Balasubramaniam on Jul 23, 2007 06:00 AM  | Hide replies

If at all you have seen what happened before the presentation ceremony you can see that Alonso thinks too much of himself. He cannot bear the fact that Hamilton is better than him and then he said something bad to Massa. It was not required at all, personally I dont think he deserves to be champion again. Even though I am a Ferrari fan I would be happier if Hamilton won rather than the proud Alonso.

Saurav, I can abuse you back but I am decent person unlike you. I know a lot about F1 and have been watching it for the last 10 years. I have also taken part as a marshal in races in India so shut your damn mouth. Of course I am happy if Massa beats hamilton, I just dont want Alonso to win.

Yes, he thinks too high himself. He is an eccentric character, nevertheless he is a great driver. The guy drove too well in wet conditions while Maasa faltered i.e. in the last 10 lapse is an indication that Alonso is far superior to Maasa. While schumi is humble though very aggressive, Alonso could become as good as schumi.

Agreed mate!! Schumi is humble but only during the latter stages of his career.
It will take some time for Alonso to get the maturity level as he is still young, Nevertheless FA is in the making of a legend

Alonso is just invincible..whatever has been said against is no better than mere speculation...though the rookie has made an astonishing start to his career he should realise that he had one of the best cars to strt his career with..for that matter alonso started his career with minardi..but the moment he got the oppurtunity take a mediocre team like renault he latched onto the oppurtunity and brought laurels not only to himself but to renault..if it was not for alonso renault renault wouldn even come close to the top 5..This is what make alonso invincible...

Unlucky???? Then you can say Takuma Sato is unlukcy because he is with a small team, If he is with Ferrari He should have won races????
Dude .... He is unlucky only in some races but not all, Even when things are perfectly poised and with a best car (Ferrari) He was not consistent atleast he is not better than his team mate.Only loosers will blame the luck. One must realise that he is just a over hyped driver.

Hamilton

My personal favourite was hamilton.. finishing 9th after an exit on a stretcher at Q3 starting 10th at pole and gaining 6 positions in next 100mts, falling a lap behind all and having made 5 consecutive fastest laps after the restart!
