why is it a fashion for talentless garbage like you to bad mouth our only genuine talent in a globally competitive sport?
Who is Sania Mirza. Just a tennis player who has achieved nothing. Not won any tournament. Only reaches second round of some major tournaments. and there is still so much hype about her. Let her perform better and then create hype and comment about her.
Look at India's heros like Leander and Mahesh who have won so many grand slams. They needed to be discussed not a underperformed girl like Sania.

Oh! I did not know that by bringing laurels to the country and being the only woman tennis player from India and creating history by reaching the 4th round of the grand slam which no one did before her she becomes a shame for Hyd or for that matter for India !!! So how does a person bring glory to India then ???? What is in ur mind sir? what kind of mentality is this?

first of all,neither liender nor mahesh reaches in any of grand slam's fourth round in their long spanding 15years of career which sania already did by making it to the4th round of us open,2005 where she eventually loses to maria sharapova.She already won a wta tournament.For your record,Nadia petrova(top 10 player for the last couple of years)have won her first wta title at only last year.And mind it,sania is an indian player.her physique and fitness is not compatible to europeansand americans due to the atmospheric factor and also the facilities they get bytheir country.Even,till now,she dont have any famous coach due to excessive cost expenditure that shecant able to pay.She already rises to no 38.Guys,you should support her for the betterment of her future.........there are millions of girls in india including muslim girls,who wear shorter clothes than sania.So why blame her only?And to earn a lot to surviveherself in this competitiveworld,she needs money,so she is doing commercials for her expensive sport.Plz stop to make bullshit comments..........its themain difference between indians and others.We are the constant hard critics of our prides,rather encouraging them.

Helo Pankaj, You are absolutely wrong in your assessment. Leander & mahesh are males. In a 100 crore population if males dont excel in any field its a shame. Sania is a female and she is the 1st & only Indian girl todate who has acheived the highest ranking. Moreover she is not so old enough to retire. She needs coaching other than his father does. His father is to be blamed for her under performance. Conservative indian girls never stepped into tennis field until sania did.
yes because Sania is not sachin tendulkar...aka...the God...she is just a human being...but she is the first ever Indian to reach play in second rounds of major tennis tournaments...which has taken her to the rank of 38 in the world...but you all cricket lovers are fools of first category...cricket is played by only 4-5 countries...and there are only 55-60 players...so sachin can be number 1 on the basis of runs gathered (here win or defeat does not matter)..In tennis you have to keep playing and keep winning all the time to maintain your ranking in the world which has more than 20,000 players competing to get ranking...anybody can defeat anyone...by the way India's ranked among the last with a ranking of 145..(provided you are capable of understanding the ranking system)...In atheletics India has never produced a single player in the last 110 years to win an individual medal in Olympics..while China get hundreds of medals in every Olympics..the only medals India won were in Hockey when the great Dhyanchand used to play...but today's young generation like you will not know that because what you only know is call centers and sachin tendulkar...Sania belongs to a class apart..much beyond your reach and understanding...She belongs to the world circuit...She does not feel pride after defeating a Bangladeshi Player in local tournaments...like our cricketers do..She defeats Russians, Uzbeks, Americans and the English in the world class tournaments

No one is against sania.But just think of Vishy Anand.The worlds highest rated chess player.Did he get his due?what about humpy world number 2 in womens chess?How many people know about geet sethi or pankaj advani?think of narin karthikeyan??Paes and bupathi r grandslam champions.they did not get so much recogition from the media.
I am not taking away sania's acheivement but allow her to reach her peak.mobing her in the headlines is only affecting her performance.hope she wins this tournament!!

vijay narayan, bhupathi is grandslam champion in doubles. after amritraj and ramesh krishnan can you name indian tennis player who excels in single ranking. in tennis competion is much much tougher than chess (you have to agree with that). chess also not needed any body advantages. if you know anything about tennis then you can see profile of any under 20 rank WTA women tennis player, their height and weight. simply you can get your answer. Moreover, in any 1st world country and even in china there is infrastructure for developing players from their childhood days. Sania efforts is her own. so, at first achieve something and then comment anything about anybody. and it is very miraculous that you think that Hampi or V. anand do not get any recognition media.Tennis is much popular sport in world so obviously a tennis player would get much recognition than a chess player, it is just simple. so do not cry.

Dear mohd khan, I know y u support sania.(Ur name says everthing).She didnt perform anything.Look at maria sharapova she is also in sania's age and look at her achievement . Entering 2nd round in all grand slams doesnt mean anything.The hype that is surrounding her is too much and she failed to deliver her good n number of times. If she looks like a average girl(in looks)the media could have stopped running behind her.She is a overrated player. Dont compare sachin with sania.Sachin had achieved everything in the game and she is yet to start.

Mr. Untold truth I am sure that I know more about tennis than you. So, you know Maria Sharapova is product of Nick Boltieris (one of the best tennis academy in world) tennis academy and you have any idea about expenditure in that tennis academy (I know you do not have). Sachin have achieved everything in game which is played by 10 countries of past british colony. You have no idea about the competition in the tennis world. And Sania is a famous in tennis circuits due her awesome and deadly forehand. Her main drawback is her service and her injury.

dont blame the media.....media shows what all(well, maybe not all) of us like to see...
watching chess is not really an interesting thing...(and humpy doesnt wear short skirts or tight shirts)...leander and mahesh did enjoy a lot of media attention whn they were in top form... i think karthikeyan should have got more attention...but then again f1 craze only recently started in india and narain did not make into to a good team(unlucky..he deserved it)
