i donno why beckham has come to US. He is a star and a prized possession of ENGLAND. The people there are football crazy and they were crazy over beckham. With US though, they dont give a damn to football. Its only money that has brought him here.

Beckham has a commitment towards Manchester United. If he plays in England he will play only for Manchester United. If it was for money, he could have joined AC Milan. He had offer from there. He moved there for the family.

He is getting a whopping $1million dollars/week contract for 5 yrs from LA galaxy. AC Milan wont spend that sort of money for anybody... Its is financially motivated decision.

He is getting $10M per year. The extra money that he can get is through extra profit he can get for the club. Actually the deal is worth $50M for 5 years. And that too is a round figure.
