No team in the world can do this magic with out their key players, if Argentina was lack of their main players they could have not even in the semis. No team can be compared with brazil!!!!

Few example of motivation power.

After league match of 2002 World Cup four famous midfilder/attacking medio comment against their play.

1.Figo-People would not die if he lost in world cup.
2.Zidane-We would not play well as a team.
3.Beckhaam-My new shoe is not suit me well.
4.Rivaldo-We have to think that this is our last world cup.

You all know the result of 2002 World Cup.

Thats called motivation.

You are absolutely right. No team can. Though the English invented this game. But its the Brazilians who perfected it. And these words from Dunga
****** We came here to rescue the self-esteem of the Brazilian supporter, the worker who leaves home early in the morning and comes back at late night and whose only satisfaction is when Brazil wins," he said ******

proves what motivates them. Samba boys Lalalalallalalalaa...

In WC they promiseda lot but lost to Germany. Here they were beaten by Brazil...THATS why Zinedine Zidane is the Best player ever and not the so called stars from argentina. They fail to produce magic when needed. Zizou is the finest example of performing under pressure...

Haha.. Michel Platini recently said "What Zidane can do with a football, Maradona can do with an Orange!"

And he won world cup for Argentina. Its true that the current Argentina team are chockers, but that doesnt make any difference for the greatest player of this era, Maradona!

It is for the effective people who go through ups and downs, need their share of luck but take the opportunities as they come. Who said Brazil was the most hyped team. There are regarded because they know the game well enough to win it from any situation. Do I rate this victory high? No, a game marrred by fowls is not in the spirit, but I dont think Argentina could put together a good show. It takes a bit more than just skills to win cups. Brazil has it in football. Australia has it in Cricket. We should appreciate their grit, and learn to make sensible coments otherwise the talented will make you eat your words. More than the war of words, its the battle won on ground that matters and goes down in the history book.

So very true .. it takes more than just talent and skill to make the cut when it matters .... Argentina, in terms of talent, skill, flamboyance, ruthlessness reminds one of Holland in the seventies, spearheaded by the marvellous Johan Cruyff, who invented total football and turned traditional fotball on its head.

However, Holland fell at the last hurdle despite being overwhelming favorites to win WC's in '74, '78... ironically in '78, they lost to Argentina !! So it is not as though Argentina have always been the chokers, they have had pulled off some incredible results.

And Argentina did continue with their dream run at the highest level of the game, in World cups but then it was the genius of that one man, the stocky, little, gritty and magical Maradona that made all the difference ...

Whoever said Argentina peaked a bit too early while Brazil improved with every outing ... I think Brazil for many years going back to even late seventies has traditionally been slow, unimpressive, at times tentative starters, but they seem to gather momentum as they progress - and this edition of Copa America was no exception. Whereas Argentina seemed to run out of steam against an organized Brazil who eventualy showed the stuff that winners are made of - hats off to Dunga and one can understand why !! Who can muster such passion for the game as Brazilians can !!!!

What a great game. Felt sorry for Argentina who has loads of brilliant players in this team, but it's the precision shooting of the Brazil forwards that tilted the balance. Brazil's defence was rock-solid. It's good they won despite no Ronaldinho, Kaka, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Adriano. The talent in that country is so deep, their second-stringers can produce a winning performance. Who heard of Daniel Alves, Elano, Vagner Love, etc and yet what clinical players they turned out to be.

You are partly right! But remember 1990 world cup, one Maradona pass, and Canniggia scores the only goal. Brazil got out of the tournament. Not exceptional talent?

Brazil again proves , they are well ahead of their arc-rivals Argentina. They are the only team in the planet that plays football with so much of enormous skill and talent. There is no match between two teams.

Forget When. Why do we argue about a game played by two countries that we dont identify with? Why do we follow a professional league in England which does not feature any player from India. I can understand NRIs in US following an NBA or NFL team. They live there. Why do people living in India watch a game where they are not represented at all. In the US sports is a local thing. People follow only those teams that they identify with. Thats how it should be.

Folks,

What is wrong in following a sport? Passions vary across people and it is perfectly fine to have groups across the globe who connect with your passion.

Whats wrong with you boss... Teh game is called football- the most followed sport in the world. As far as why people follow it- well the game is such and why do you need to watch something only where ur country is represented. Well would you not watch ashes since India is not playing??? If so many ppl are watching the game atleast we could have a dream that cause of the rising popularity of the game more youngsters will get attracted to the game and someday we could also be playing with these big guns just like Korea and Japan have done. Its a dream for most Indian Football fans to see something like this to happen in their life time.

More than cheering for Argentina or Brazil, we should just cheer for 'FOOTBALL', the game. Its a wonderful game and there is nothing wrong anybody from any country following it.

Ur a sick !..Go to Hell.... firstly india cannot even enter in to copaamerica as only latin american countries can participate in it. secondly no matter who rules football federation , we cannot produce the same skills n stamina as shown by latin american n european teams.Thirdly reservation has nothing to do in sports. If ur so sick about reservation then go to Hell. !

A lot of latin-american players are playing for European clubs. This could be also one reason why their stancards are very high. On the contrary none of our players get any chance to face foreign teams which is tragic. I am sure given proper encouragement and training we too can shine and can become no. 3 or 4 if not no. 1 in Asia. China has come a long way in a short period.

This tells your stupidness

how can you relate caste with football?

and you are also talking about reservation!

The main problem is that we do n't have good players and we do n't hav enough funding!

If Govt spends very low on reservations then we can get a good funding for football and other sports!

U r a real stupid. Where from the fund will come. 70% of India doesn't know what football is. It's only Bengal, Goa, Kerala and Punjab where football is popular. Rest of the India is crazy abt cricket. If u want funding watch Indian football. Your viewership counts. Then the corporates will be ready to fund.

Yes you are faceless as you have no face to show and your replies are baseless. You are a brahmin hater. Bihar is was ruled by Yadhav for 15 years what happened. Tamilnadu has Dravid movement and for ages what happend. If you have to be still get liberated that you agree that you are still subjected.
Please note that Mohunbagan beat English team whictout wearing shoes. No one asked what caste the barefoot footballers were.
I do not know about your caste but your mind is low for sure.
