if liverpool has to win the league and repeat the ECC success then they will have to hire world class strikers. Midfield and defense are okay but they lack sharpness in attack. They should get strikers like Nisteloy , Etoo, Rooney ,Drogba then only they can win the league. This year Frenando Torres may make a difference but he is from spain and if he will take his time to adjust then it will be too late for liverpool to givc a neck to neck fight to rivals Man U and chelsia. They will again perform good in ECC but hopes are less in league.See what happens.
Well said Steve but despite being a die hard Steven Gerrard fan, I have little sympathy for Liverpool..They have underperformed big time...2 finals in Champions league in 3 time and struggling to finish 3rd in Premiership is unacceptable

Liverpool is a better team when it comes to European football . But in EPL its a different story altogether. They are not consistent performers.
